Marine Repair/Service Technician

The Madeline Island Yacht Club is looking for a Full Time Marine Technician to join our crew.

The Madeline Island Yacht Club is located on Madeline Island in Lake Superior along her southern shores in Wisconsin. We are a year-round full-service marina that has earned a reputation as the premier marine service center on Lake Superior, as well as a destination spot for non-member boaters and tourist alike. We are the only MerCruiser certified service center in the area and offer MerCruiser certification to our technicians. We strive to keep our technicians at the forefront of the industry with ABYC training and certifications, safety training and education, as well as educating them in all aspects of the marine industry. During the summer months and in our 4000 sq. ft. indoor facility during the winter, we offer year-round service and repairs to everything from a 16’ runabout to 80’ luxury yachts. Our technicians can expect to work on inboards and sterndrives, outboards, fiberglass repair and customization, brightwork, gelcoat and painting, electrical systems, electronics, and all other systems associated with boats. Training will be provided on the safe operation of our 35 ton Marine Travelift, 45’ mobile man-lift, and Marine Hydro-Hoist.
